We have 8 horses that are looking forward to getting out for a good day on the trails (June to October).

They have all different personalities, just like us.

Depending on your experience, personality and physics we will find the best match ever! Understanding the horse and its personality is important to enjoy the ride, but also to get a connection with the animal. Only very few sports can offer you that feeling.

Note: Only children above 12 years old can do trail riding in the woods.

KIDS

• • We do not give any riding lessons
  • No child aged 12 and under can go on the trail
  • Family package available for young children (brushing, sitting on the horse, merry-go-round)

Preparing the horse is a part of the experience.

You will have to brush them, help us to saddle up, etc.

Learn about the equipment as well as about the horse and their way of understanding us.

Ferme les Neiges is our farm established in 2003. In the beginning as a Boer goat farm as well as slowly but surely taking control over the land and forest after years of being abandoned.

Lisa and Patrice are passionate about their farm, the harvest, the forest and animals. Sharing with others and offering a warm welcome to visitors is in their DNA. And by having years of event management experience in their backpack helps to manage the unpredictable and constant development! The owners are committed to the impact of their activities on tourism and the positive effects that create jobs and prosperity. Volunteering and social inclusion are inseparable components of the owners’ vision of their past and future projects.

Ferme Les Neiges is an active member of the Groupement forestier de Québec-Montmorency Inc and is certified Forest Producer.

• • Since the acquisition of the property, more than 2,000 trees have been planted on the land and a planned cut is made to create new access paths and enhance our forest.
  • We use the process of progressive seeding cut, or gardening cutting which aims to harvest selected trees individually or in small groups from a forest in order to improve the stand.
